Xiaomi is all set to launch the company’s latest smartphone in India and there are no more details on it. A teaser on Amazon.in reveals that #PrimeIsComing and the teaser doesn’t reveal the smartphone. Although the image of the smartphone resembles with the Note 2 Prime. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime powered by MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795 processor and looks like the Ericsson patent issue is settled on or the smartphone will comes with different processor. Will wait for the launch and see what’s coming next from Xiaomi. Above all, Amazon.in says that it will revel more details about the smartphone everyday.
Update 1: The new “Prime” comes with 4G Dual SIM support with Dual standby and connectivity features like 4G/3G/2G on both SIMs.
On the specifications front, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime features 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it has 178 degree wide-viewing angle. It is powered by 2.2GHz Octa-Core Helio X10 processor which is paired with PowerVR G6200 GPU & 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with MIUI 7 on top of it and it has 32GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the imagining front, it features 13MP rear-camera with LED flash, PDAF and 5MP front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n ( 2.4 / 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS + GLONASS.
It packs 3060mAh battery.
