A good news for PC gamers, they can now use their Xbox One gaming console with their machines. Microsoft has announced the Windows support for the Xbox One, offering PC gamers a better way to play using the Xbox One controller. The new PC drivers for the Xbox One controller will be available for download from today. The Xbox One PC drivers enables you to play any game that featured gamepad support.
The Xbox 360 controller has been available for PC for years but there was no way to use the new Xbox One controller with Windows due to a lack of drivers. Microsoft has taken care of that issue and made good on its promise to release PC drivers for the Xbox One controller. You can download the drivers on your PC to enable support for the new controller and simply connect your Xbox One controller to your PC through a micro USB cable and play any game that featured gamepad support for the Xbox 360 controller. The drivers are available for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows. But there’s still no way to wirelessly connect an Xbox One controller to the PC.
The drivers are currently available through the Major Nelson Blog. Microsoft is planning to release the drivers as part of a Windows update in the near future.
