Finally after a long wait, Sony Xperia ion users have a reason to smile it’s because today Sony begun the long-awaited update of Android firmware. Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean is now available in the form of build version 6.2.B.0.211.
Like previous firmware updates, it is rolled out in staggered form which means it may take some time to become available on your particular device. To get the latest firmware update, you have to use Sony’s PC Companion app on Windows or Bridge for Mac.
