Skype Video Messaging Service now Available on Windows, Mac, iOS, Android – but not on Windows Phone

Skype launches its video messaging service across all its major platforms – Windows, Mac, iOS, Android and BlackBerry. Unfortunately, the service is currently not available on Windows Phone. The service is out of beta and now available to all Skype users – completely free of charge. Video messages can be received and viewed on any platform or device running Skype.

Skype video messaging lets you send short video messages over Skype. You can now send unlimited video messages to your Skype contacts. The  recipient of these messages need not be online when you send them and they’ll be able to view your video message as soon as they sign into Skype.

The lack of support for Windows Phone is surprising, but we expect more information on Windows Phone compatibility soon.
