Samsung has launched the company’s latest smartphone – Samsung Galaxy Alpha in India at a price tag of Rs. 39,990 It comes in Charcoal Black, Dazzling White, Forested Gold Colours.
On the specifications front, it features a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels and it is powered by a Octa-Core EXYNOS (1.8GHz Quad + 1.3GHz Quad) processor. It has 2GB RAM and 32GB in-built memory.
On the imaging front it has 12-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash and 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video calling. Camera modes include HDR, Panorama, Selective Focus, Dual Camera, Beauty Face, Virtual Tour and others.
Despite its metal build the Samsung Galaxy Alpha is just 6.7mm thick and weighs only 115 grams.
It has connectivity features like Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 2.0.
It runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat and packs 1,860 mAh battery.
It has features like Ultra-Power Saving Mode, S-Health, Finger Print Scanner, Private Mode, Download Booster, biometric screen locking feature, built-in hear rate monitor and Quick Connect. It is compatible with Samsung Gear Fit, Gear Live and Gear 2. Sensors include an gyro, geomagnetic, hall, light, proximity, gesture and HR. An accelerometer is present onboard as well.
