In an event in the Philippines, OPPO has announced the company’s latest selfie-focused smartphone – OPPO F5 at a price tag of 15990 Philippine Peso. It comes in Gold, Black colour for the 4GB RAM variant while the 6GB variant comes in Red colour, and the smartphone will be available for pre-order starting from today to November 3rd and will go on sale starting on November 4th in the Philippines. The smartphone will be available in other countries like Russia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam in November. The OPPO F5 comes in two variant – 4GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and 6GB RAM with 64 internal storage. For your information, the OPPO F5 is the successor of OPPO F3 smartphone, and the main highlight of the smartphone is the front camera.

On the specifications front, the OPPO F5 features 6-inch 18:9 FHD+ full-screen 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 2160 × 1080 pixels, and protected the display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by 2.5GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P23 16nm processor with 800MHz ARM Mali G71 MP2 GPU & runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system with ColorOS 3.2 on top of it. The front-facing camera is powered by artificial intelligence and comes with beauty recognition technology that scans 200 facial recognition spots to create the perfectly refined & natural selfie. The camera allows you to adjust lighting according to the background and comes with bokeh effect. The smartphone also comes with face unlock feature that helps you to quickly unlock the phone.

The smartphone has dual-SIM support and comes with connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS.
