OPPO has launched the company’s latest smartphone in Reno Series – Reno 2 in India at a price tag of Rs. 36,990. The OPPO Reno 2 available in Ocean Blue and Luminous Black colour and it will go on pre-order starting from September 10th on Amazon.in, Flipkart and other retailers online & offline while the smartphone goes on sale starting from 20th September.

On the specifications front, the OPPO Reno 2 features 6.55-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED panoramic display with ultra-narrow bezels, 93.1% screen-to-body ratio and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The Reno 2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor which is paired with Adreno 618GPU & 8GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 on top of it and has 256GB internal storage which can be expanded further via microSD card.
On the camera side, the OPPO Reno 2 features quad-cameras setup on the back – 48-megapixel primary rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, 13-megapixel telephoto lens for 5x hybrid zoom, 20x digital zoom, 8-megapixel 116 degree ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel mono lens. The smartphone also has Ultra steady video mode that combines OIS and EIS, Ultra Dark Mode, and Bokeh video for both the front and rear cameras. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel Shark fin rising camera on the top for selfie & video-calling. According to company claims, the smartphone can withstand over 200,000 times of lifting and the mechanism takes just 0.8 seconds.
The OPPO Reno 2 features in-display fingerprint scanner, and gradient 3D Glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The OPPO Reno 2 has Hybrid Dual SIM card slot and comes with connectivity features like Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C.
The Reno 2 packs 4000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
