OPPO has launched the company’s latest smartphone in the R-series – OPPO R17 Pro in India at a price tag of Rs. 45,990. The smartphone comes in Radiant Mist and Emerald Green and it will be available for pre-order exclusively on Amazon.in starting from today. The OPPO R17 Pro will go on sale starting from December 7th, 2018 and it comes with a of launch offers like 10% cashback for HDFC cards, Rs. 3000 cashback for PaytmMall order, Up to 3.2TB additional data and benefits up to Rs. 4900 for Jio users, One-time screen replacement at Rs. 990, No-cost EMI available on all major credit cards and select debit cards, and Extra Rs. 2000 off on exchange. Originally, the smartphone was launched back in August 2018 in China at a price tag of 4299 Yuan.
OPPO R17 Pro Smartphone Details
On the specifications front, the OPPO R17 Pro features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels, a notch, 19:9 aspect ratio, 91.5% screen-to-body ratio and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor which is paired with Adreno 616 GPU & 8GB of RAM. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with ColorOS 5.2 on top of it and has 128GB internal storage.
On the camera side, there is a triple camera setup – 12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.5 and f/2.4 varirable aperture that intelligently switches depending on the light and comes with OIS. There is a secondary 20-megapixel camera that capture the depth information in portrait shots and zoom and lastly, the Time of Flight (TOF) 3D Sensing camera that can get high-precision 3D depth information through nanosecond infrared light measurement. You can use it to take 3D photos and can also connect it to your TV and turn it into a home game console. On the front, there is a 25-megapixel AI front camera with f/2.0 aperture, AI, Sony IMX576 sensor, 3D Portrait for selfie & video-calling.
The smartphone has a new fog gradient that uses 3D fog glass and a new condensing grading process that makes the colors blend on the back of the phone and flow with the light and shadow. The smartphone comes with in-display fingerprint sensor that can unlock the phone in 0.41 seconds
The OPPO R17 Pro has dual-SIM support and comes with connectivity features like Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB 3.1 Type-C, NFC.
