At an event in Dubai, Oppo has announced the company’s latest smartphone in the R-series – Oppo R7S. it comes in Golden & Silver colour and will be rolled out in Singapore, Australia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand as well as MENA region with the United Arab Emirates as a hub. It will be available for purchase in Europe and USA through the Oppo Style website after that in December and there is no word on the pricing.
On the specifications front, it features 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 2.2mm narrow bezel and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. it is powered by 1.5GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor which is paired with Adreno 405 GPU & 4GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Color OS 2.1 on top of it and has 32GB in-built memory which can be expanded further via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 13-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash, PDAF and 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has hybrid dual SIM support which means the nano SIM card slot can be used as a microSD card slot. It has connectivity features like 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG.
It packs 3070mAh battery with VOOC Rapid Charge that lets you charge the phone up to 90% in just 50 minutes.
