OnePlus has launched the company’s latest smartphone – OnePlus X in India at a starting price tag of Rs. 16,999. It is launched worldwide across in simultaneous event and it is available exclusively on Amazon.in. The OnePlus X with Onyx version costs Rs. 16,999 and it will go on sale starting November 5th while the OnePlus X with Ceramic version costs Rs. 22,999 and will go on sale starting November 24th. OnePlus said that, they have made only 10,000 units of Ceramic version and the Ceramic version will be available through Ceramic-specific. The good thing is that, after the first flash sale, weekly open sale will begin starting December and the smartphone will be manufactured locally in Foxconn’s Sri City facility in Andhra Pradesh.

On the specifications front both variant have same specifications, the only difference is of the back panel & weight. OnePlus X features 5-ich Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is powered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor which is paired with Adreno 330 GPU & 3GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.1.1 operating system with Oxygen OS 2.1 on top of it and has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128 GB via microSD card.

On the imaging front, it features 13-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash and 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.

OnePlus Onyx Hands-On Review
It has brushed anodised metal frame and comes in Onyx version with glass back and limited edition ceramic variant. It has an alert slider, a hardware toggle to switch between No Notifications, Priority Notifications, and All Notifications, similar to the OnePlus 2.
