Nokia has finally launched Asha 501 in India, the latest product of the new generation Ashas with a brand new platform. Nokia Asha Software Platform 1.0 is designed to make the experience faster and more responsive. The Phone was introduced at a global press conference in New Delhi, India. It already went on pre-order in India last month. Nokia Asha 501 is available in six colors – Bright Red, Cyan, Yellow, Green, White & black. Asha 501, a smart device to take on the low-cost Android phone. The phone is available in Single SIM and Dual SIM variants. Nokia Asha 501 priced at Rs. 5199.
It comes with Free Facebook access for Airtel customers for 3 months. Asha 501 comes with Nokia Express Browser that compresses data up to 90%, phone offers 50 pre-loaded apps including Facebook, Twitter, Line, Nimbuzz, WeChat, Cricbuzz, Newshunt, GetMeRated, CricInfo, CNN, ComicHead, Twist Music and more. It also comes with 40 free EA Games gift pack that can be downloaded from the Nokia Store.
