Moto X is now official. Motorola’s Moto X is the latest smartphone and it is the first device to launch in the Motorola and Google partnership. Motorola Mobility has officially unveiled the much awaited phone of 2013 at an event in U.S. Moto X comes with many unique specs and features. Moto X Release Date, Price and Availability
The Moto X smartphone will be available later this summer,expected by the end of August or early September from Google/Motorola but also from a variety of carriers in North and South America. The Moto X smartphone will be available from all major carries including T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, US Cellular and Verizon. The Motorola Moto X phone at the moment will only be available on a 2 year contract.
Moto X 16GB version has been priced at $199.99 with the usual two-year contract in the United States. The 32GB will also be sold by select carriers for $249.99 with the two-year contract. Motorola has confirmed that Verizon, AT&T, US Cellular and Sprint will all carry the Moto X for $199 on a 2-year contract, it has also been confirmed that T-Mobile will be carrying it as well but no price has been announced yet. AT&T buyers will be the first to access to Moto Maker customization option for the handset.
Rogers in Canada will be selling the Motorola Moto X. It will be sold at $189.99 on Rogers in Canada with a two-year agreement. The flagship smartphone is coming to Canada around the same time it hits the U.S.
Motorola has also confirmed that Latin American markets will get the phone starting with late August / early September, without actually naming specific markets.
Retailers like Best Buy will also have the handset in stock. The full price (without contract) of the Moto X is expected (not officially announced at present)at $575 or $625, depending on capacity variant. A Google Edition version of the Moto X is apparently also in the works.
