Microsoft has released a new Office Remote App for Windows phone that allows you to control Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on your PC through your Windows Phone devices. Now available on the Windows Phone Store, the Office Remote app gives ability to turn your Windows Phone into a smart remote that interacts with Office apps on your PC.
Office Remote App lets you to start PowerPoint presentation, advance the slides, navigate between Excel worksheets and graphs, see your speaker notes, scroll through a Word document, and control an on-screen laser pointer — all from your Windows Phone.

PowerPoint:
- Jump to the next, previous, and last slide
- View slide thumbnails and jump to a slide
- View speaker notes on phone
- View presentation timer and slide numbers

- Change worksheets by swiping

Office Remote App is compatible with Office 2013 only on a Bluetooth enabled PC, does not work with Office 2013 RT or earlier versions of Office. The desktop add-in for Office Remote must be installed on your PC.
