Micromax has launched the company’s latest smartphone in the Unite series – Micromax Canvas Unite 4 Plus at a price tag of Rs. 7,999. It comes in White, Grey, Silver and Champagne colour. The Micromax Canvas Unite 4 Plus will compete with Intex Aqua Secure and Reliance Digital LYF Wind 4. The smartphone supports Indus OS with 12 regional languages and features an app store in regional language, Indus-to-Indus free messaging services, Indus Swipe feature and more. The smartphone comes with some pre installed apps like Gaana, Hike, Ixigo cab, Milive, Quikr, Scandid, Operamini, scandid, Skype, Snapdeal.
On the specifications front, it features 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.1GHz MediaTek MT6735P quad-core processor which is paired with 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, upgradeable to Android Marshmallow operating system and has 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded further up to 64GB using a microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 8-megapixel rear-camera with auto-focus and a 5-megapixel front facing camera.
It has Connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G LTE.
It packs 2,500mAh battery and according to company claims, it offers standby time of 281 hours and talk time of 20 hours.
It comes with full-metal body and a fingerprint scanner which is embedded on the home button.
