BlackBerry, the Canadian company is working very hard on its new OS 10.3 to give a completely new experience to their loyal customers. Recently, a whole bunch of screenshots have leaked showing the new and upcoming BlackBerry OS 10.3. These screenshots also reveal the change log of features coming in the new OS version 10.3.0.140.
The most interesting part is the addition of a new voice assistant, it seems that BlackBerry will be getting its own voice activated virtual assistant. It seems, on the home screen the icon shadow has been removed. This might not be a final decision, but it looks cleaner.
BlackBerry is also getting an intelligent assistant, seems to not work properly with this version. good news is that BlackBerry will be getting its own voice activated virtual assistant. You can see its UI below but no name or possible features yet.
New features of the camera with new UI with cleaner look and a single red shutter.
- A timer for taking photographs is added.
- Taking panoramic photos (works correctly) is implemented
- The option to record in 720p at 30 fps and 60 is added
- Pin design capture and control orientation is changed.
- HDR takes is suggested when conditions require.
New design changes for the music player, play button has been emphasized.
Includes some smart features like turn off the screen when the device is upside down or inside pocket to save battery.
The keyboard has received a new layout and color scheme, Black with Red, Black and red. There’s also a screenshot of smart search, which looks like a universal search of sorts.
In addition, the new OS 10.3 will allow the system to minimize or maximize applications almost instantly to give a pleasant and improved browsing experience. The controls and buttons worked and acquire a more gentle view looking design for a minimalist style.
These are looking some prominent features coming to BlackBerry OS 10.3 with all new experience. There is no information when the new OS will hit BlackBerry devices but is is expected to be available soon.
