HTC has officially announced the company’s latest flagship smartphone One Max in India at an initial price of INR 61,490 while the best buy price is INR 56,490 and it is expected to be available in Indian markets a month later. HTC One max was announced last month and it features a 5.9-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, powered by 1.7GHz quad-core Qulacomm Snapdragon 600 processor paired with Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM and internal storage of 16GB which is expandable using a micoSD card.
It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with new Sense 5.5 UI that brings updated BlinkFeed with new customizable topic categories, Instagram and Google+ integration. In addition to this, it has built-in Fingerprint Scanner on the back of the smartphone that lets you lock or unlock the phone.
Other features include UltraPixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, 28mm lens on the back with LED flash and a 2.1MP front-facing camera with 88 wide-angle lens similar to the HTC One and BoomSound stereo speakers without Beats audio. It packs 3,300mAh battery which claims 25 hours of talktime & a standby mode time of 585 hours. HTC One Max comes with connectivity options like 3G & LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and offers 50GB of free Google Drive Space.
HTC One Max feature a iPhone 5S-like fingerprint scanner at the back and it can used to unlock the device to launch certain apps. HTC One Max is the third device after the Motorola Atrix & Apple iPhone 5S to feature a fingerprint scanner.
