HTC announced the Desire 816 in India at an initial price of INR 23,990 and it will be available later this month. Nearly in the same price segment there are few competitors to HTC Desire 816 like Samsung Galaxy Grand 2, Motorola Moto X, Lenovo K900 and Sony Xperia T2 Ultra. The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra features a bigger screen and bigger battery when compared with HTC Desire 816. HTC Desire 816 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and whereas the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
