Huawei under its Honor brand has launched the company’s latest smartphone – Honor 8 in India at a price tag of Rs. 29,999. It comes in Sunrise Gold, Pearl White, Sapphire Blue colour and it will be available on Amazon.in, Flipkart, Honor store online & also through offline retailers. it comes with extended warranty for 2 years, free replacement for 3 months for manufacturing defects and screen replacement warranty for 3 months. It is the successor of last year Honor 7 and the next-gen Honor 8 comes with new hardware, design improvements & more.

On the specifications front, it features 5.2-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 950 processor which is paired with Mali T880-MP4 GPU & 4GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with EMUI 4.1 on top of it and it has 32GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.

On the photography front, the Honor 8 features dual 12-megapixel rear cameras, one with monochrome and other with color sensor to capture crisper, more detailed photos. The RGB sensor allows capturing rich colours while the monochrome sensor captures more light with increased sharpness. The camera also features dual LED flash, hybrid auto-focus, and laser autofocus for short range and depth focus for long range. Other features include screen-lock snapshot, virtual aperture shooting, night shot, professional mode, beauty mode, food mode, panorama, HDR, watermark, light painting, time-lapse, slow-motion, audio note, document scan, capture smiles, touch to capture, Sound Snap, delayed shooting, and face detection.
