Huawei under its Honor brand has announced the company’s latest smartphone – Huawei Honor 8 in China at a starting price tag of 1999 Yuan. It comes in Pearl White, Sunrise Gold, Midnight Black, Sakura Pink & Sapphire Blue colour and it is available for order in China & will go on sale starting from July 19th. It comes in two variant – 3GB RAM with 32GB in-built memory with full version net corn / carrier edition costs 1,999 Yuan, 4GB RAM with 32GB in-built memory with entire network version costs 2299 Yuan and 4GB RAM with 64GB in-built memory for the entire network version costs 2499 Yuan.
On the specifications front, it features 5.2-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 950 SoC which is paired with Mali T880-MP4 GPU & runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Emotion UI 4.1 on top of it. It come in different variants – 3GB RAM with 32GB in-built memory, 4GB RAM with 32GB/64GB in-built memory, the in-built memory can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the imagining front, it features 12MP dual rear-camera with laser auto focus and 1.76-micron pixel size promising brilliant image quality in low-light conditions. It has 8MP front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has Hybrid dual sim card slot and connectivity features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C.
