In an event in San Francisco, Google unveiled the company’s latest smartphone in the Pixel series – Google Pixel at a starting price tag of US $649. It comes in Quite Black, Very Silver & limited edition U.S. only Really Blue colours. The Google Pixel costs US $649 for the 32GB variant while the 128GB variant costs US $749. It will be available for pre-order in the US, Australia, Canada and Germany starting today and It will be available for pre-order in India on Flipkart online on October 13th, 2016 starting at Rs. 57,000. It will also be available from Reliance Digital, Croma and other stores offline.
On the specifications front, the Google Pixel XL features 5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and to prevent it from scratched, it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by 2.15GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor which is paired with Adreno 530 GPU & 4GB of RAM. it runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and has 32GB/128GB in-built memory & comes with unlimited cloud storage.
