In an San Francisco Event, Google has unveiled the company’s latest smartphone in the Pixel series – Google Pixel XL at a starting price tag of US $769. It comes in Quite Black, Very Silver & limited edition of Really Blue colours and it will available for pre-order in U.S., Australia, Canada, Germany starting from today and it will be available for pre-order in India on Flipkart online & retail stores starting from October 13th, 2016. The Google Pixel XL comes in two variant – 32GB variant costs US $769 while the 128GB variant costs US $869.
On the specifications front, the Google Pixel XL features 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and to prevent it from scratched, it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by 2.15GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor which is paired with Adreno 530 GPU & 4GB of RAM. it runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and has 32GB/128GB in-built memory & comes with unlimited cloud storage.

On the photography front, the Google Pixel XL features 12.3MP rear camera with LED flash, Sony IMX378 sensor, 1.55umpixel, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, LDAF and 8MP front camera for selfie & video-calling.

It packs 3450mAh battery which is good enough for 26 hours of talktime and up to 456 hours on standby mode. It supports Quick Charing too and according to Google, with only 15 minutes of charging you can get up to 7 hours of battery life.
The Pixel smartphones are the first smartphone that comes preloaded with Google Assistant. The Assistant not only makes it easy for users to interact with their smartphones, but it also communicates with other Google products like Home and apps like Allo. You can long press the home button and swipe up on the screen to get Google Assistant to bring additional info from contents on the screen.
