Fujifilm has announced that they are releasing a new firmware update for their Fujifilm x-Pro and X-E1 camera. The new firmware update will fix the problems some users are experiencing client to focus in low contrast situations.
The new firmware released by Fujifilm will bring faster AF sped and addition to the “Focus Peak Highlight” function for manual focusing and improved AF speed on most existing XF lenses. Faster AF speed is achieved with the following XF lenses:
– XF14mmF2.8 R
– XF18mmF2 R
– XF35mmF1.4 R
– XF60mmF2.4 R Macro
– XF18-55mmF2.8–4 R LM OIS
The new Fujifilm firmware is free to download and will be available from July 23rd 2013.
