D-Link has launched the next generation Covr Dual Band Whole Home Wi-Fi System – COVR-C1203 in India at a price tag of Rs. 12,999. It is the first mesh system with swappable covers in different colours – Gold & Ocean Blue. It is available for purchase through D-Link network of distribution, reseller, large format retail (LFR) outlets, and e-commerce platforms in the country. Originally, it was announced at CES 2018 in Las Vegas back in January.
It is powered by Qualcomm Mesh Networking platform and based on MU-MIMO (multi-user, multiple-input, and multiple-output) technology. The D-Link COVR-C1023 virtually eliminate Wi-Fi deadspots, and creates a zone of the stable network across a diverse range of connected devices and it includes smartphones, smart televisions sets, & smart bulbs.
The D-Link COVR-C1203 comes as a three-unit package and the company has implemented smart roaming technology in it. The Smart Roaming technology continuously analyze the wireless signal strength between your devices and connect to the strongest signal available at your location.
D-Link has also designed a Wi-Fi mobile app that offers you a convenient web-based interface to install the Covr Wi-Fi system at your home and the app is available for free download on Android & iOS devices.
