In an event in New Delhi, CREO has launched the company’s first flagship smartphone – CREO Mark 1 in India at a price tag of Rs. 19,999. It comes in Gun Metal Black colour and will be available from Flipkart & CREO website soon. There is no word on the availability yet. Apart from this, you can engrave your message on the side of the phone, if you order the phone from CREO website and first 3000 customers will get free engraving. At the launch event, it is said that, there are plans to release a new Fuel OS update on May 13th, the update will bring a new photo editor, customizable and intelligent Echo, selfie screen flash, automatic background data manager, performance enhancements and more.
On the specifications front, it features 5.5-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by 1.95GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795 processor which is paired with PowerVR G6200 GPU & 3GB RAM. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system with Fuel OS on top of it and it has 32GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the imagining front, it features 21MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, Sony IMX230 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording, 120fps slow motion at 1080p. It has 8MP front-facing camera with 86-degree wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture, 1080p video recording.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity feature 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
It packs 3100mAh battery with fast charging.
CREO Mark comes with custom Android-based Fuel OS and Fuel OS has important Sense, Echo and Retriever feature. it also comes with custom notification, lock screen gestures, smart inbox for messages, customizable capacitive touch buttons, smart call forwarding and more.
The Sense feature offers quicker access to everything in 2 steps and faster navigation, which can be enabled from the gesture settings. The Echo feature that is a built-in answering machine automatically answers when you don’t attend a call and the caller can also send you messages that are stored in the phone. You can send the call to Echo by double tapping the power button or swiping up when you receive a call.
The Retriever feature sends an email if a new SIM is inserted, including number of the SIM and doesn’t require internet. CREO support will also help you to locate the phone.
