Ubisoft released Assassin’s Creed: Pirates game for Android and iOS platforms on December 5, but didn’t stated any word on Windows Phone version of the game. Now it seems Windows Phone gamers are going to get their hands-on with the Assassin’s Creed Pirates series very soon. Assassin’s Creed France team has confirmed on its Facebook page that the game is actually coming to Windows Phone. On its Facebook page, in a reply to a question Assassin’s Creed – France Team confirmed that the Pirates series of the Assassin’s Creed game is coming to Windows Phone also. The original Question asked is [Prévu pour plus tard sur Windows/windows phone ?] – in French – [Scheduled for later on Windows / windows phone?] – we translated in English. In reply to this question Assassin’s Creed – France Team replied as [Bientôt à venir sur Windows Phone oui] – in French – [Coming soon on Windows Phone yes] – we translated in English.
Assassin’s Creed Pirates comes with a new 3D graphics engine made specifically for smartphones and tablets. The game is is focused on “the Golden Age of piracy” into the Caribbean and naval battles.
