Already Android 4.4.2 update rolled out for Nexus devices & many of you already received the update or some of you are waiting for the update. Now, factory images of Android 4.4.2 KitKat update with build number KOT49H are available for download directly from Google. In addition to this, binaries are also available for download. If you have a Nexus 4,5,7 (2012 and 2013) or 10, you now have a Google-sanctioned and supported way to return your phone or tablet to it’s stock state on the latest firmware possible.
For your information, these factory images are not your standard JPG or PNG, they are, in fact, images which offers you to directly update & wipe your device and install the newly released operating system from scratch and gives you a fresh start on your device. These images are useful to go back to the stock version of Android if you tinkered with ROM on your device. Android 4.4.2 KitKat update brings completely redesigned multitasking system and it optimizes memory usage in every major component. In addition, Google has also listed down important bug fixes in the 4.4.2 upgrade.
