STK To Foray Into Indian Smartphone Market This Month

STK has announced its plan to enter the Indian smartphone market this month. STK headquartered in UK has already launched several mobile accessories in the country. It has smartphones in Hero, Galactic, Sync, Storm and Summer Fruits series. It plans to launch several smartphones, including its flagship HERO X smartphone in the country. These smartphone priced between Rs. 2999 and Rs. 9999. STK Mobiles is currently available in 20 countries, and has sold over 3 million units. It aims to be among the top three online selling brands in India in this segment within 2 to 3 years.

Commenting on the company’s plans for the Indian Markets, Henri Salameh, Global Head & Executive Director of STK said:

With STK Mobiles we shall not only bring the exhilarating devices but also an impressive user interface and ecosystem which has been globally making news. Our flagship products shall be one of the most unique offerings making us the new face of affordable Luxury in India. There’s a lot of patented technology we’re building for India, which will cater to the local market, focused on enhancing the user experience and giving more.

STK aims to launch more than 10 phones across these categories by December 2016.

STK smartphone has unique software and services ecosystem with a friendly user interface platform. STK Care app in the phones will keep users aware of the threats it is facing and suggests automatic fixes.

The company also has plans to set up a manufacturing plant as well as R&D centres in the country as a part of its long-term vision. It is now in advanced discussions with various state governments to set up Manufacturing and R&D centres in India.
