Xiaomi launched the Mi3 in India at a stunning price of INR 13,999 and at the same price it will compete with Motorola Moto G. At the same point it will compete with recently launched Asus Zenfone 5, Asus Zenfone costs Rs 9,999. All the smartphone are dual-SIM phone and all of them runs on latest version of Android, Android 4.4 KitKat. Xiaomi MI3 runs on customized version of Android 4.4 with MIUI V5 on top of it, Asus Zenfone 5 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean (Upgradeable to Android 4.4 KitKat) with Zen UI on top of it and Motorola Moto G runs on Stock Android. Apart from Asus Zenfone 5, none of the smartphone mentioned above has the option to expand internal memory. All devices has the usual connectivity features. On specifications front, Xiaomi Mi3 has better specifications and it will easily compete with other smartphones in their segment.

It has 2GB RAM and 8GB internal memory which can be expanded further up to 64GB via microSD card. It has 8MP rear-camera with LED flash and 2MP front-facing camera. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean (upgradeable to Android 4.4 KitKat) and packs 2,110mAh battery.
