Oppo has launched the company’s latest budget Android smartphone – Oppo Joy Plus in India at a price tag of Rs. 6,990. It is the successor of last year’s Oppo Joy in India and it comes in Blue & White colours.


Commenting on the new launch, Tom Lu, CEO, OPPO Mobile India said,

The Smartphone market in India is constantly evolving and we intend to reach across sections through our budget Smartphone, Joy Plus. We are looking at aggressive market penetration this year and we are confident that Joy Plus, packed with latest features will provide our customers more personal and reliable mobile experience.

On the specifications front, it features 4-inch WVGA IPS ultra-sensitive touch screen with glove mode and it is powered by 1.3GHz dual-core processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with ColorOS 2.0 on top of it and has 8GB in-built memory which can be expanded further by using microSD card slot.

On the imaging front, it features 3MP rear-camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.

It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth & GPS.

It packs 1700mAh battery.
