Google announced Lollipop earlier this week and said that it will begin to roll out for other devices in “coming weeks”. According a source, the Android Lollipop update will be out to Nexus 7 (2012), Nexus 7 (2013) and Nexus 10 on November 3.
The Nexus 4, Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 with LTE follow the aforementioned devices and receive the update by the end of November. According to the source, the hardware with cellular capabilities will have to wait a big longer for Android 5.0 Lollipop update at first.
The latest version of Android brings a major visual enhancement due to the main feature dubbed as Material Design. Other features include stronger security features, notifications, battery saving feature and so on. Other smartphone makers like Motorola, Sony and HTC have announced that selected smartphones will receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
