Finally after a wait, Google has announced the much awaited new Nexus 7 tablet. New Nexus 7 tablet is thinner, narrower and lighter than as compared to earlier version. New Nexus 7 tablet comes with high-resolution display and it is said to perform 80 percent faster than the original with nearly 4x graphics performance.


The new Nexus 7 has a 1920 x 1200 pixels IPS display resolution which results in 323 pixels per inch, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. It has 1.2 MP front facing camera and a new 5 MP rear facing camera. It packs 3950mAh battery and it is only 2mm thinner & 50g lighter when compared with earlier versions. In addition to this, it has dual speakers (on the back), NFC, HDMI, wireless charging and Bluetooth 4.0.


The new Nexus 7 would be the first device to run on the newly launched update of the Android Jelly Bean OS 4.3 Three versions of the Nexus 7 tablet will be available: Wi-Fi only 16GB and 32GB models for $229 and $269 respectively and the 4G LTE version launching in the coming weeks.
