Lenovo latest smartphone – Lenovo Vibe X2 has been listed on company’s India website and it is expected that it will be launched soon. Originally, it was announced at IFA 2014 and it costs $399. The main highlight point of the smartphone is that, it sports tri-layered design.


On the specifications front, it features 5-inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6595M processor which is paired with 2GB of RAM. It runs on android 4.4 KitKat with Vibe UI 2.0 on top and has 32GB in-built memory.

On the imaging front, it has 13-megapixel auto-focus rear-camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera.

It has dual-SIM support for Asia-Pacific region and single-SIM support for other regions. On the connectivity front, it is equipped with 4G LTE/3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

It packs 2300mAh battery.

It has new innovative click-on accessories, known as VIBE Xtensions, VIBE X2 Battery and VIBE X2 speaker. The Xtension cases add a fourth layer to the VIBE X2’s multi-layer design. The 5.1mm X2 Battery protects the phone and extends the battery life up to 75 percent. The VIBE X2 speaker offers better audio and has built-in mic for group conference calls.
