Lava has launched the five new smartphone in the Iris series and it includes Iris 400S, Iris 400 colors, Iris 250, Iris 404 Flair & the Iris 410. All the smartphone priced between Rs. 4,000 & Rs. 6,000 and as of now, exact pricing is not available yet.

Commenting on the launch, Navin Chawla, Vice President & Head – Product Lava International Ltd., said,

Given that bulk of the market is still driven by feature phones, through these values for money products, we aim to help the consumer upgrade to smartphone and realize the power of internet. These smartphones offer an enhanced browsing experience and also takes care of the entertainment/ connectivity needs of a customer who is upgrading to an entry level smartphone.”

The Iris 400S features a 4-inch WVGA IPS screen with a resolution of 480 x800 pixels and it is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor which is paired with 512MB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and has 4GB of in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card. On the imaging front it features 5-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash and VGA front-facing camera. It packs 1400mah battery.

The Lava iris 400 Colours features 4-inch WVGA screen and it is powered by 1Ghz dual-core processor which is paired with 512MB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and has 4GB of in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card. On the imaging front, it has 3.2-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash and VGA front-facing camera. It packs 1400mAh battery.

Iris 410

The Lava Iris 410 features a 4-inch WVGA screen and it is powered by 1.3GHz dual-core processor which is paired with 512MB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and has 4GB of in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card. On the imaging front, it has 3.2-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash and VGA front-facing camera. It packs 1700mAh battery.

Iris 250

The Lava Iris 250 features 4-inch WVGA screen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and it is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor which is paired with 512MB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.2 KitKat and has 4GB of in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card. 404 Flair

The Lava Iris 404 Flair went on sale recently and priced Rs. 4,199. It features 4-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and it is powered 1.3GHz dual-core processor by which is paired with 512MB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and has 4GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card. On the imaging front, it features 5-megapixel rear-camera. On the connectivity front it includes, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro-USB. It packs 1400mAh battery.

All these smartphone has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 3G support 3G connectivity (Iris 400S, Iris 250 and Iris 400 Colours), while the Iris 410 and Iris 404 Flair only support 2G (GPRS/EDGE).
