Earlier, Google has released the Android 4.4.1 update for Nexus 5 and Nexus 10 and after four days Google has released the Android 4.4.2 update for Nexus devices again. Android 4.4.2 update fixes the issues like clearing the VM indicator, fix for delivery of the VM indicator, various additional software fixes and security enhancements and brings a better overall user experience.

Sprint’s version of the Nexus 5 is getting upgrade as well, so the carrier was nice enough to outline the different fixes folks can expect. Here’s the short list:
- Fix for clearing the VM Indicator
- Fix for delivery of the VM Indicator
- Various additional software fixes
- Security enhancements
This is a small OTA update which is available for all the latest nexus devices including Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 10 and the 2012 & 2013 Nexus 7 tablets. Android 4.4.2 update is of 54MB and it updates your Nexus device from Android 4.4 to Android 4.4.2, in case if you haven’t get Android 4.4.1 update. The updates are rolling out over-the-air and if you haven’t seen it on your device then be sure to check back soon or update your device manually. To update your device, do not forget to charge your battery & turn on Wi-Fi.
